Revive + Restore is different because it works before shampoo. Is this just another dandruff shampoo? No. That’s the whole point. It’s a pre-shampoo scalp scrub. You massage it into your scalp first, let it sit, rinse, then shampoo as normal. Shampoo washes through your hair. This helps clear the scalp underneath it.
Will this burn or strip my scalp? It’s made for scalps that are already irritated, itchy, tight, and fed up. Salicylic acid and volcanic pumice help exfoliate the stuck-on layer, while tamanu oil, panthenol, glycerin, avocado oil and grape seed oil help leave your scalp feeling clean and comfortable — not stripped raw. If your scalp is extremely sensitive or broken from scratching, patch test first.
I don’t want harsh medicated products. Is this more natural? Yes — but not in the useless “smells nice and does nothing” way. We made this to sit in the middle: clean enough to trust, active enough to matter. It’s naturally-focused, but still uses proper exfoliating ingredients to help lift flakes and buildup instead of just coating your scalp in oils.
